The Taranaki SAFER Family Centre is a not-for-profit community organisation, which provides counselling, education and social support services to individuals and families across all of Taranaki. We are nationally recognised for our particular expertise in the areas of sexual violence, sexual offending and counselling of children.

- Group programmes are run for children to provide positive social skills, interaction with peers and new strategies to change anti-social behaviours. Parent’s programmes are run in parallel with these children’s groups.
Group programmes are:
Stop 4Kids – for children with sexualised behaviour
Kids Safe – learning to keep themselves safe in unsafe situations
Amazing Kids – for children with serious behavioural problems
We also offer all the above on an individual basis when this is more appropriate to the child’s needs or to address a safety issue. - CHANGE Programme
